Erika Kaiser
Erika Kaiser brings over 35 years of experience in competitive swimming. Born and raised in
Cypress, Texas, Erika attended Cy-Fair High School. In addition to swimming and playing
volleyball, in 1995, she began coaching with the Cy-Fair Swim Club and continued until
graduating high school in 1998. While attending Texas A&M University, she began coaching in
the Northwest Aquatic League in the North Houston area.
After graduating from Texas A&M in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, she
began teaching in Spring ISD. While there, she taught a variety of English courses, including
Honors and AP Literature & Composition. She also coached 8th grade volleyball while
continuing to coach summer swim teams with NWAL.
Coach Kaiser joined Tomball Memorial High School as an English teacher in 2013 and served
as assistant swim coach until 2017. She served as assistant TISCA water polo coach in spring
2021 and head TISCA water polo coach in Spring 2022 when the TISCA Varsity Girls team
finished second in District 22 and advanced to the first round of play-offs. In Tomball Memorial’s
inaugural season of UIL Water Polo in the fall of 2022, both Varsity Girls and Boys were
Undefeated District 7-6A Champions. Our Girls team continued to be Area Champions, and our
Boys team continued to be Bi-District Champions.
This is Coach Kaiser’s second season as Head Coach of the Wildcat UIL Water Polo program.
Coach Kaiser currently teaches AP Language and Composition and English II TAP as well as
coaching the Wildcat Swim & Dive program. She and Scott, her husband of 21 years, have two
amazing girls together and one lovable dog.
